about

After so many positive reviews of their 2005 debut „Resorbing Everything“ (Redfield Records), you could expect Flensburg-based band ALIAS CAYLON to follow the path they were on. According to that, „Follow the Feeder“ would sound even bigger, louder and more aggressive.
But it does not, instead „Follow the Feeder“ is warmer in tone, more dynamic in songwriting and by far more atmospheric than its predecessor. The opening track „High Time“ with its dry bassline jumps straight in your face, „Seven / Eight“ is a retro-sounding, vibrant pop song, „Ocean Ocean“ sounds like a huge wave approaching, breaking down and retreating again. To find the optimal arrangements, ALIAS CAYLON put great effort in perfecting the details and characteristics of every single song. The three-year long process was a total success. „Follow the Feeder“ contains ten different songs between Pop and Post-Hardcore that sound original and genuine.
